That's nice... now get rid of the stupid stipulation to be at the venue to purchase tickets and they might really help some of the problems for North American fans!

In 2000 we here in Germany only got one, too, and also at some of the concerts in 2001. So it may be that we only get one this time again. A few of my friends who are married and go on tour together joined both the fanclub to be sure.

Becky I hope for you and everyone else who would love to go to a concert in the USA that they will change this, too, for the next time. It should be possible to order the ticket with your membership No. and maybe get the ticket the day of the concert at the box office by showing membership-card and ID. This can't be that difficult.

Sambo-Chris, I see what you mean. It's unfair for fan club members not to get tickets, when non fan club members get tickets. An example of this was at the fan club sale for CAA, where 400 people were in line, and only the first 100 got seats. I understand your point, but it is a little frustrating that I can only buy 1 ticket.

If you are able to purchase tickets (in the pit) through AXS....what is the point in paying out and joining the fanclub? The only perks in my opinion is the wristbands for the front pit but you can now get these without even being in the fanclub. AXS was a money making scheme (and an absolute joy for scalpers) and to do this with the fanclub tickets is yet another money making scheme. Alot of members cannot travel to pick up their tickets (especially in the US) so they would have relied on a friend or spouse to do so...now that is impossible. I myself was going to travel to Jersey for the Giants Stadium shows as a good friend was going to get me a ticket but that is impossible now.
I just don't see why they have changed it half way through.
Just my opinion.

On our messageboard in Holland (BonJovi.nl) someone came up with the idea that it might be a good thing if you could make your spouse or friend a member also, but for a smaller amount of money. A kind of dual membership! That way the problem in Europe wouldn't be such a big one. Then every member could get another person to come with them to the concert and the other would be a real paying member of the fanclub! So no one could have a problem with that, could they?
In the US the whole systems stinks and this wouldn't solve the whole problem, but at least two people of the same household shouldn't have to pay 40 or 30 dollars a person just to be in the pit together.
Just my opinion!

Someone asked some time ago for family-membership. Meaning that husbands and/or kids can join the fanclub for less money without getting the magazine. But they don't want to make this.

Why not??
I know it must mean a lot more work for them, but I don't think THIS is a good way to reward loyal members for their patience and support throughout the years! This will cost them memberships!!! But maybe they're counting on getting new memberships as well, because everyone has to be a member now! I don't think that's the way you should treat the fans!

I could be mean now and say, with family-membership Mrs. B. doesn't earn that much money. But I'm not mean and shut up.

If I was mean, I could say that I agree with you totally. I'm not mean, either, so I won't say anything.
