Default Bands footwear on tour - part II

Aloha !

I know we don't usually talk about the bands' fasion but since Richie is back now I feel this should be cleared up.

I'm wondering now that we've seen pictures of the band's shoes; what socks do they wear? Now that Mrs. B retired from the fanclub, does she knit her son's socks, does she knit them for the entire band? Or just the four of them and no socks for Bobby and Huey?

Or do they buy socks at Walmart simply to save money? They're not very tall so they won't have large feet either, maybe they all have the same size? They might be able to buy 100 pair of socks there and get a huge discount. Would it be part of their contract? Maybe Walmart could sponsor the tour with their socks.

This has been going on very long now, however, I have seen pictures where Jon and Richie where different colour socks (not two different colours by themselves though!), maybe they've been offered different colours?

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Very interesting topic.

Here's what I know, I've added photos in some instances for your viewing pleasure.

Jon hires twenty 25 children and people with small hands to build the soles on his shoes, they add a good six inches onto his height. Jon has been quoted as saying "I feel like a man when I wear my big boy shoes"

Richie's shoes are a mystery, much like the shroud of Turin or the secret
ingredient in Coke.

Tico Wears sandals made out of snake skin (which he caught himself)

Dave wears bowling shoes, because he loves bowling and they remind him of clowns.

Bobby has shoes with Velcro straps because he can't tie his laces.

Hugh wears shoes made of liquorice which he devours after each show.

Geez, I wonder how much of a man Jon would feel like in Gene Simmons's shoes.

Surely as CEO of a major brand/organisation Jon and the rest of the band wear Bon Jovi own-brand socks and shoes?! (Available at a very reasonable price from Bonjovi.com!)

Does anybody know if we finally got to the bottom of this? It has been playing on my mind all day. I couldn't concentrate at work, worrying about it...
