Best way to get in a sign or banner that I've seen is to write it on a pillow case, then fold it up and put it in pocket or purse. Not getting confiscated.

well i don't care matt. I'm still holding up a freakin sign at philly. I mean if they ever do come there since it hasn't been announced YET. and mine is going to be harmless. It will be on a small posterboard and absolutely nothing inappropriate will be on it. so there!

Matt can post this stuff al he wants, it's security in venues complaining about banners really. They're not blocking other people's view, but are also blocking the views from security personel. The problem is that Matt's incapable of putting the message across without making Jon look like a twat and himself look like a fool. If he wouldn't insist on trying to come across as someone insanely important but would explain the issue properly I doubt people would be this upset.

That's not what i meant. I wasn't aware he didn't know about the banners rule. The "mission" remark was about his missing solo spot in the current BJ shows.

Apparently communication doesn't work either outside nor inside. The way Matt reacted today and made Richie apologize in public is not right IMO They could have informed Richie about this new rule and made an official statement finally.

Richie is talking about singing a solo spot and says it is cool to have banners because he is not a killjoy asshole.

Matt (whoever he is) has already said no more banners because he is a killjoy asshole before Richie had said what he said.

Matt (whoever he is) then told Richie (the guy who wrote some of the songs, so in some ways has ensured Matt (whoever he is) has a job) that he was wrong.

Richie then says sorry for his horrendous gaff?
