Some of the setlists are good and some of them are really bad. It all comes down to laziness. Jon keeps on saying that he lies a lot. He made promises and doesn't deliver every night.

I won't sell my tickets but I will not buy more tickets.

Of course I wouldn't and anyone who says yes to this question is, quite frankly, a complete moron.

Like was pointed out earlier, this is a totally different set from the previous three tours where you could actually only expect one or two different songs a night from what you'd heard the previous year, never mind the previous night.

So I really, really don't get the bitching at all. Unless you've hit a show on The Circle tour yet, you have not seen this show. This is different.

And there is much, much more chance of hearing something special on your show than there EVER has been. You might get lucky, you might not. That's no different from the past 14 years of seeing this band live. Except now, that probability is just a bit higher.

The band have raised their game, there's no question about it.

WTF ???
Sell my tickets?? **** off, I want to see my fav band live!

Whatever, this complain I have already seen it in Metallica Forums, Acdc forums...fans who wants to hear what they want , no what the band wants to play for the fans.

In the 2nd North American leg, there will be more songs to play...come on, 140 shows...they canīt change every night, nobody does...(there are a few exceptions, of course)

Enjoy the fact that we can still go to a show of the band we love...If you are not, sell the ticket to someone who really enjoy it

Seb, seriously, what are you talking about when you say a fan has a right to hear a certain song? That just makes no sense whatsoever. All you're really saying is that because Jon plays a rare song in one place he must play one in another, or more generally, because you want Jon to play more rare songs at every show, he therefore absolutely must, and that's completely irrational.

This is what I was saying earlier that amuses me. People are getting themselves into fits becuase they are demanding something be a certain way, although there is absolutely no reason at all why it has to be that way, and when thing inevitabley don't turn out the way you or somebody else demand that it must, as it's bound to happen from time to time, you get angry.

The fact is Jon doesn't have to play what you, I or anybody else wants or even demands to be played. They choose to put on a concert, you and I choose to buy a ticket for that concert and we can both desire as much as we want that the songs we like get played and those we dislike don't get played but there is absolutely no reason at all that we have a right to have our wants or demands met.

If what we'd prefer to get played gets played, that's great, and if it doesn't that's just too damed bad but a surefire way to piss yourself off and run your enjoyment is to insist that a concert must be a certain way.

No way, I've been waiting almost three years for this.
And I wanna hear Richie sing Homebound Train.

No chance.

Following the setlists is just something that us more die hard fans who use fan websites do out of interest.

It makes no difference to how you feel at the gig, I couldnt really care less when im there.

(Of course unless they play an album in full that night)

Sums up my opinion pretty much. I love coming for the PBPs but since my show was only the 10th show of the tour, I wish I would have stayed away & been surprised. That was the only disappointing thing about the entire show, was having an idea of what would be played. There were certainly other songs I wanted to hear (Raise Your Hands, HAND, BPL/Thorn/Bullet) but I was completely satisfied with what I got.

But regardless, Bon Jovi is still putting on great, great shows. The energy level was ridiculous, and the production only intensified that. I've been to a lot of concerts in my life, but this Bon Jovi show last week is definitely in my all-time top 5.

I've been bitching a lot about setlists, but that said: Not a chance in hell, for a lot of reasons:
1. For starters, there are songs being played that I really want to hear live (The Circle stuff, STFP most of all.)
2. The setlists, while predictable are not absolute crap. The song selection itself is *mostly good*, and there seems to be a tad more deviation lately.
3. This "lazy set = lazy show" crap is bullshit. The best Bon Jovi show I've ever seen is Central Park, and that was the most "Casual Friendly" set I've ever heard.
4. The shows have become more than just concerts. Pert of what I'm looking forward to most about Jersey is the JT meet up. Same with Boston, which is also going to be a road trip with a bunch of my friends who aren't even going to the show.
5. Honestly, and if this is part of what gives the reputation of an ass kisser, then so be it, but this band still does it for me. They are my favorite band, and a vast majority of the "every-night" songs still do it for me when I'm there. I could hear to Prayer live a million ****ing times, and NEVER get bored of it. Also, to be quite honest, I've seen them 10 times, and left with a bad taste in my mouth once. (Pru Night 10)

God Brian don't remind me of that Pru show. I kick myself mentally for selling my ticket for the whole album night all the time. I loved the CP show too because of the crowd energy not the songs per say. My mind barely registered what was played except Always which I hadn't heard since 01. Bon Jovi do it for me too and always will. I first saw them in 1989 on this very same date which happens to be my birthday. From that moment I was hooked. I have not missed a tour except for the Crush album then starting back with the OWN tour. I have seen them on Letterman outside during the These Days promotion and at other public events and have never walked away unhappy. I am hoping for something that I never heard live or something I haven't heard in over 10 years. I just want to hear more variety from them during the course of the eight shows I'm going too.I will have a good time anyway because the company will be awesome. I made this post to see who would sell their tixs out of the people being upset at the sets.
