Eh, the new songs aren't terrible, but let's not get carried away here. None of them are awe-inspiring, and honestly whilst live "Because We Can" sounds as good as any of them, which should tell you something. if Jon's vocals weren't so abhorrent the other ones might sound better, so let's hope for the record's quality. Still, nothing all that impressive here.

Im really pleased the played loads of new songs. Brave move.
How many times do they do this kind of thing and you get just 2 new songs?
Maybe im being greedy but Id have loved to hear the whole album live with the encore being Prayer, Bad Name and Wanted.

Anyone discovered the reason for all the Lost Highway stuff ? You'd be under impression it was a popular album over here. CRUSH or HAVE A NICE DAY please.

it's crazy innit ? especially on such a short gig, you would think they'd chose a different setlist...

some say Jon had a cold ? could be. but what I do also hear on the performances is a singer who's singing flat notes 90% of the time. it makes it painful to listen to it. I'm usually one of those who sort of 'understands' why Jon can never sing like he used to back in the 90s or whatever. but this is just dreadful.

Jon plays the Lost Highway material because he likes it. The audience doesn't really figure into his thinking a lot of the time. "One for me, one for you"

I just watched the new songs back on the BBC website. Christ, Jon must be a hard man to work with. The little side glances and grimaces he pulls when Richie plays and his general demeanour stink.
