I personally think it sounds like it could be the best album since These Days.
But thats just me.
Everyone who knows me knows I am a lover of the first 6 albums then expect not a lot from then onwards but theres something about WAN that I like.

I will say, knowing you from this forum as I have and the fact that you have been positive on the new songs, makes me excited for it!!

''I'm with you'' is by far the best of the new songs by far, really rocking 90's feel to it. Was this not broadcast on the radio? Can't put my finger on what it reminds me off.. Joan Osbourne maybe? or something from the mid 90's anyway

I just don't get it with some people on here, I was watching the gig last night while seeing what people on here were thinking of the new stuff, and boy I am not sure why some people even bother listening to bon Jovi.

Ok I get that people have opinions and that's what makes this a good forum but last night I actually got the feeling that people were hoping the new stuff would be bad so they can smugly say I told you so and slate the band........ How sad.

After a few lines of the new songs people were putting negative comments,? That told me that their minds had already been made up that they were going to hate the new stuff.

Why all the negativity? It's almost like people hate everything the band do.

After a few more performances the songs should sound a bit better. Richie & Jon were constantly looking at the auto cue. Richie was blubbing random lines at some points.

Don’t worry Johny, we are still sitting in the same jail room for the same crime I haven’t listened to any of the new songs from yesterday’s show either even though temptation is huge. I don’t even read the lyrics that showed up shortly after the show and I hope I will hold on with this too till March.

I only heard Because We Can so far, since it’s the only official studio version. So I checked yesterdays’ live version of it. And honestly, it sounds a little bit better without this awful production, but still not enough to make me love the song. So just as you, I think the lead single was false start and the worst is behind us. Now, after reading some comments here, I know that the album is good and has lots of songs miles better than lead single (as usual in BJ land for years), just as I thought from the beginning.

I don’t count Jon’s solo songs as album related at all. I heard them both and I am not thrilled by any of them, just Ok, but far from Jon’s previous solo work.

So for me for now it’s: Because We Can, Not Running and Old Habits. Rest will have to wait until March

Has a video of the gig surfaced yet?

I recorded it from the red button on to my ps3, using PlayTV. I could try moving it from my ps3 to laptop, but not sure if it will work, due to file format etc, pretty sure PlayTV records things in .M2TS format, unsure if that would play on a pc.

The other concern is sometimes when I move recordings from playtv library on to main menu, the files corrupt, so could lose the whole thing.

Will give it a go if anyone thinks they can do anything with it? PM me. 2.2GB file

Also worth mentioning, I started the recording 5 mins early and ended it 5 mins late (overcompensating for it staring early/ ending later), so that could be done with being cut off.

Why do people ask obvious questions? Or you could take 5 seconds to check yourself! There are multiple video sources around now, many on youtube plus the official BBC stream is still available for another 6 days or so.. Rip or download them, easy peasy!
