That's not what I'm saying, though. I love two of them songs and they are two of my favorites and would be put into a set list that I would choose. But they aren't rare anymore. 'Dry County' is a great studio song but bores me so much live. I used to love it but it got out of that 'rarity' stage and takes up two or three songs in an encore in which seems to be the places for 'surprises.'

'Always' is my best song by the band. I would have that in first on any set list. The point I'm making is that the band have such a big catalog of songs that they can make any set list they want and please the casuals AND the diehards. When I see the band live, I want to see a solid show and one or two surprises. That's all. I want a band on fire and a song that makes me go 'Wow, didn't expect that', like 'Garageland' did at Manchester.

Keep in 'Prayer', 'Bad Name', 'Bad Medicine', etc.. for all I care, but change the set list up a bit more instead of three songs that aren't even rare anymore.

Even though Dry County and Always are one of their greatest songs IMO, I don't really get excited them being played, cause Jon's vocals are so poor and he only seems to put some effort to them at the last show of each tour as we have seen in Brisbane and Lisbon on last tour. He isn't rehearsing those songs, just reading them through from prompter like in karaoke. All the songs instead of the big hits are played without passion, practice or any effort at all. That's why I cannot really enjoy the band live nowdays at all even if they played some rarities.

I didn't say that. They're three of the best songs, but still get labelled as 'boring' because they are played too often.

The way I see it, many people would rather see 'Summertime' or 'I Got The Girl' played than 'These Days' because the two aforementioned are played less. And I don't understand it.

That's not it at all, mate. People rather hear 'These Days' but I think people want the shock factor of seeing either of them two you mentioned on a setlist. They aren't good songs at all, but it's something different and would get us talking.

If you asked anyone before a show, they would choose 'These Days.'

No, I think the people who want rare or different songs played would rather Summertime or I Got The Girl played than something like Crash, Who Says or Sleep.

Getting different songs are good, even if those songs are not particularly great or I'm not a fan of them, but I wouldn't want them played instead of Always, These Days or Dry County and I'd be surprised if many, if anyone, would.

Well never mind. Maybe next time. I was actually thinking just yesterday about when they played 'Tokyo Road' and 'Shot Through The Heart' etc. in Hawaii. Genuine shocks which we were all pleased to hear. Hopefully those sort of choices come back next tour.

I find it hard to consider Dry County and These Days rarities anymore either, but when you look at those stats, Dry County was played at 11.65% of shows this tour, and These Days at 13.59%. Comparatively, that still is fairly rare.

I wish they had given This Ain't A Love Song more of a chance though. Especially at Hyde Park!
