On BBC news website AEG have signed a 5 year contract for gigs at Hyde Park and it says they will bring Bon Jovi to arenas next year so it looks like Hyde Park

Just saw that. Looks likely but pretty uninspired.

"The council also cut the number of people who could attend events from 80,000 to 65,000 - and, in some cases, to 50,000."

This will be important to Jon as even a relatively minor turnout will result in him "selling out" Hyde Park

Sorry in advance for my ignorance but could someone explain (without being snarky) the problem with Vienna and Munich being back-to-back concerts? Just curious. I am used to driving (or flying) long distances and the two cities don't seem that far apart.

People want to be early at the stadium to get close, esp. in Munich. And making both shows makes it difficult for Munich being there early.

I don't have a car, no friends (with cars) who'd be willing to do both shows, public transport from my hometown is a bit of a nightmare, the Vienna-Munich transfer would probably be no problem whatsoever, but the rest of it... I'd probably end up tired and annoyed.

The other thing is, I'm not sure I would want to see two shows in two days. I prefer a bit of a break in between, a week or so. Unless we're talking about two days in the same city.

Don't be silly, that's not the problem. The issue is what show will be better. Will Jon hold back in Vienna for Munich or will Jon give 3 hours in Vienna with rare songs and then realize the next day that he's knackered for Munich? I can't be bothered about Munich though, too much of a let down last time, and 2008 was a great show but far from one of the best of the tour as well.

Yeah, and Barcelone will be the 27th. I'd like to go but can't afford it as of yet. We'll see about the tickets later though, it'll be a while til showtime.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Cologne, Barcelona and Milan in such a short period of time. That could become one hell of a week. Now off to find a job to pay for it

I would have considered Lisbon because its such an amazing place to visit (and because I saw one hell of a show too), but I chose Lisbon over Barcelona last tour and may go for something different this time.

I am trying to go to bed and I hope when I wake up the dream show in Gdansk will still be there

But also wanted to say that I am very happy to see the date in Prague too. Johny, man, you got it too. Really happy for you!

And I am happy and torn to see the date in Milan. AC Milan is my fav team and I wish I could be at San Siro for BJ show. That would so awesome. But the date is not possible for me, as I don’t want to miss the birth of our baby, and that would be just too risky. But I am really happy for all Italians. Such an epic stadium and epic band. Maybe next time for me

This European tour will be just phenomenal!
