Default bed of roses solo/intro

anyone else thinks riche sounds lame on this one ? he always seems to be play the intro (and sometimes the solo) either out of time or with a few ghost notes (meaning he doesn't press the frets correctly). what d'you reckon ?

I had a feeling something similar to this would be made in light of his performance with the 'wrong guitar' in Belgium.

It sounds fine most of the time.

Yeah, I don't know about the solo but the intro he almost always gets it wrong, a little out of time.

Yer Ive noticed this on a lot of vids of this song... For the intro anyway. He uses sweep picking which can cause unnessesary sounds if he does mute the other strings

richie's chops are finished.

He's grown lazy...every solo is the same. I'm his biggest fan..but he needs to dry out and practice some new licks!

If he plays forever like he is playing in Europe, I'm fine with that !

I really hate that run down the scale where he plays a note two times and then moves down to a lower note and so on. He seems to put in every solo he plays now. It sounds good for example in Always but don't do it in every damn solo!

hahha

yeah it's funny...you think after all these years he'd have some different licks...play the same ones but invert them....

I think slash gets a bad rap...his technique is so much better than when he did appetite.

De Ville.....he's got even worse..

Richie is great...my hero....but it's tired!
