Default Best and Worst Jon Vocal Performance

That you have heard/seen live?

Best: Probably Always Live from London 95 (UNBELIEVABLE)

Dry County 95 from Wembley

Close seconds: Ride Cowboy Ride Tokyo New years Eve 1988 (AMAZING)

I'll Be there For You 1993 Milton Keynes
2001 Cincinatti (AMAZING)

These Days 95 Yokahoma

Worst: 1987 Livin on a Prayer from the MTV VMA's - painful... poor Jon's voice was gone, I actually feel very bad for him

2004: TLFR DVD Blood on Blood- you can see how they edited it Jon's mouth is shut yet his voice is still magically ringing out and Born to Be My Baby- he sounds very nasally and whiny

Always 2003- Saw it on the Bounce tour in Albany, NY was so excited when I heard the intro and then it sounded like shit. he can't sing that one anymore

So what are yours?

(cue me on the big screen) JBJ: "How good have you been? Oh My God!" (laughs, more teasing) JBJ: "You want it huh, you want it huh? Blood on Blood just for you, the good girl in the front row? The all request hour, the girl in the front row has just asked for Blood on Blood, ok, Merry Christmas young lady!" Amazing <3

Best: Almost everything before Crush with a few exceptions.

Worst: Almost everything after Crush. Including the Livin' On A Prayer's he nails according to our beloved Krycek.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Why is it always about picking fights with you. No one cares.

EDIT:

BEST: Always, Wembley 95, Keep the Faith, Giants 2001

WORST: Off the top of my head, Buffalo '03. Painful.

You maybe dont like the way they are performing the songs on the TLFR show but Jon sure dosent suck on every song... They are some strong vocals in that show....

Well now to my favorite Jon vocal moments: Something to believe in yokohoma 1996, always wembley, london 1995, I'll be there for you milton keynes 1993... its the ones that came to my mind right now

Worst: A lot from the box set show.

Best - All the 93 Milton Keynes Show, Always at Wembley 95, Dry County at Bremen 95, and Prayer at the Ray Cox show back then, on the great MTV period

Worst - The Albany show in 2003. When Jon hit the first notes of the Always chorus I almost puked !

BEST: "Something to Believe In" ~ Yokohama '96
"Dry County" ~ London '95
"Keep The Faith" ~ Giants '01
"Livin' On A Prayer - Accoustic" ~ VH1 Storytellers
"Always" ~ London '95
"Someday I'll Be Saturday Night" ~ Dublin '03
"Last Man Standing" ~ TLFR DVD
"Not Fade Away" ~ Jon Bon Jovi in London promoting DA

WORST: I guess quite a few of the performances around the release of the Box-Set. The Borgata performance and the today show performance. I remember a friend of mine showing me a performance of Livin On a Prayer from either the Slippery tour or the Jersey tour, and I guess it was when Jon's voice was stuffed becuase he sounded worse then I've ever heard.
