There is a great live version from 93 off the Real Life single. It's got great energy. Can't find it though.. Something like this - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t2vDn6Ph1YA
I agree with the first part. The outro is one of my favorite outros if not THE favorite outro, when they are on fire and able to nail it!
I don't really like the way they performed it in the beginning of the KTF-tour, there was something missing and they couldn't really pull it off.

Anaheim 2003
San Jose 2003
Charlotte 2003
Glasgow 2003
Amsterdam 2003
Hyde Park 2003
Columbus 2003 precursor version
Raleigh 2003 smaller version
Alpine Valley 2003

And I think KTF from Giants 2001 is magnificent.

I have to check them out, thanks

One Wild Night and Shepherds Bush are both best versions IMO, I like Richie's "Right now we gotta keep the faith" in shepherds bush, amazing!!

There are quite a lot of them, most of them were already mentioned. The best one I personally witnessed was probably Frankfurt 2008, followed by Munich 2003. I even considered the one in Dusseldorf pretty decent, but maybe it was just standard and I rate it higher as the other songs were so below par.

However, this one from East Rutherford 2000 totally grabbed me:

Just listen to how Jon sings "try to hold on, trying to hold on!"
And Richie totally owns the outro solo!

I absolutely agree, Brian. Different songs had their shining moments at different points in the tour. Keep The Faith at NMS stadium was the high point for that particular song out of the shows that I saw. After that, it just paled in comparison. Like an impending orgasm but then nothing comes out and it's a bit anti-climatic. The location being New Jersey at the brand new stadium home for the Giants.

The whole stage set up was truly massive in that it incorporated the entire stadium.. little details like the wrap around digital display banner that circles the entire stadium... used dramatically in the intro sequence. The various words appeared all across the display at once and started moving slowly circling around the stadium and then racing faster and faster until they became a blaze of light flooding the stadium before going dark and then seeing the guys walking towards us. That how they intended that to be experienced. Keep the Faith took that ownership of the entire stadium by setting the sky alight.

Of course you won't see any of the above in the "spectacularly directed "The Circle Tour" as culled from those shows.

**edit: Here's what I'm talking about:
If you want KTF watch the aforementioned directoral travesty.

My favorites are from Stockholm and Munich 1993. I wore out my video tapes of those shows replaying KTF.

Totally slipped my mind. This easily is my second favorite, after Giants 2001.

And that's from the show I mentioned that I never expected to see. And I went home blown away all over again. Perhaps you can see (and hear) why.

I see that some more educated people have answered your question regarding the "Boom"

Kick ass version of KTF from Sheperds Bush btw...
