I´ve seen Bon Jovi 4 times in Europe...and yes...European shows are great. But my dream is see Bon Jovi in New Jersey - maybe setlist wouldn´t be so great, maybe I can be a little bit dissapointed but...for me, who knows only Europe, BJ show in their hometown would be a dream. I hope next tour my dream comes true

I was in New Jersey last year, and those shows aren´t in my personal top 10.
NMS were very bad shows, the worst crowd I´ve seen in a concert in my life,
At the end of the shows I was very angry with the band, with the crowd and with myself for the money I spent to became my dream real, and it was like a nightmare!!!!.
In Europe it never has happen to me,(maybe in Zeebruge, the worst european crowd I´ve seen..)

I wasn't at these shows, but from the reports I've heard and videos I've seen, I don't think they were a nightmare (except for the July show). Perhaps you were expecting too much? The setlists weren't phenomenal, but they seemed to be executed greatly.

They were not a nightmare but they were not great shows either. They were damn good though and I enjoyed them completely. The New Jersey audience is tough. Yes - many are die-hards but there is an element here of "prove it". This audience has seen so many good shows of so many other bands that they are not quite as focused on the one show that they get every few years.

That may be one reason that this audience gets so much criticism from people from elsewhere. Especially in NJ and NY - we are spoiled.

I was at the Sat May 29th show (flew from Mpls that AM and back next day). We had a blast. Definately did not suck. Crowd was awesome. Parking lot was full of people pre-gaming it (tailgating), atmosphere was electric, we heard sound check from the lot. Band seemed in great spirits...setlist was great. The reviews/PBP were good too.

Saw them at the Prudential in 2007 and NWS in 2010. I can't honestly say that any of those 6 shows are up there with my faves, except maybe NWS night 2. Having said that i'm glad i've done it and the "Giants shows" were special. Maybe not setlist wise but the whole arena, vibe of seeing Bon Jovi in New Jersey meant alot to me. Giants night 3 in 2006 goes down as one of the greatest BJ shows in recent years - wih I could have got to that one.

This is the only place in America I would see Bon Jovi now.

Definately NJ/NYC are places to see the band in US. I have about 4 or 5 markets I will see them in...always kick butt!

Even though I was disappointed a bit with the setlist, I would say the Valentine's Day show got a good setlist:

Thank You For Loving Me (played only once this tour)
Pretty Woman (played twice this tour I believe)
My Funny Valentine (played only once this tour)
Superman Tonight (acoustic) (played twice I believe)
Just Older (special for me)
Someday I'll Be Saturday Night (electric)
Bed Of Roses
