Your back seat must be pretty worn out then!!

That's the only problem with being really overwhelmed with hearing a song you really wanted, you scream and laugh and cry in amazement and don't even pay that much attention to the actual song. I just kept saying "they played it!" over and over and everyone was talking to me. From what I remember though it was a great performance and I definetly know that Jon had an acoustic guitar.

These Days - vienna 2003 - they ended the show and the second encore with shout, just like most of the bounce tour shows, and they left stage, i knew it was over...

but then jon came back and said "the police are gonna put me in jail for goin' overtime! ah well, c'mon guys, let's do These Days"

man, as those first notes were played i ****in screamed my ass off - what a great moment that was... the crowd went absolutely nuts!

best end for a show!

Opening with I Believe in Gelredome 2000, it was my first show and I Believe is my favorite song so I was first blown away by the intro riff, then by the guys coming on stage, seeing Jon for the first time was really impressive back then, all the while hearing I Believe. I would have liked to have my reaction on tape for those first minutes
Also These Days was played there, although I did not know it was a rarity at that moment.

After that, my 2nd show: I heard Raise your hands as the 2nd song in Amsterdam 2001, I couldn't believe that they played it, because it hadn't been played since the slippery tour at that point and it's been my third favorite song for a looong time.

Something to believe In in Keulen 2001, which is my 2nd favorite song.

These Days in Mannheim 2003, which we shouted really hard for and kind of hoped they heard, although I still don't believe they did.

I Believe in amsterdam 2003 and the show after in Bremen at the end
again, I really didn't expect it there.

I'd die for you and Blood on Blood in Ostend 2003 was also pretty good

For me "the OMG I can't believe this is being played song" was Blood on Blood ~ December 12, 2005 ~ Albany NY Pepsi Arena

This is my all time favorite Bon Jovi song and in the six shows I had been to prior I had never heard it live. Out of the six shows I had been to BOB had been on the setlist as an audible at three of them. I had second row on the Bounce tour and requested BOB in Saratoga, Jon looked right at my sign but it never got played.

Fast forward to December 2005. This time around I had front row center smack in front of the white mic stand. The night before the concert I decided to make a sign. I contemplated writing one for Blood on Blood but it hadn't been played the first 19 shows of the tour and was wondering if it was going to be a waste of my time. At about 11:00 pm I decided what the hell, i'll do it. It was less than two weeks til Xmas so i chose a green poster board wrote with red marker "Dear Jon- It's Almost Xmas I've Been a Very Good Girl Please Play Blood on Blood." I figured since i had front row i could just hang it on the barricade, Jon would be looking at it all night long and then maybe just maybe play it. Well that plan didn't happen because I got to the Pepsi Arena and was told no signs... get rid of it. I was not about to throw out my sign.. I tried really hard to sneak it in but it was a huge poster size sign so i had to put it back in the car. Needless to say I was pissed.

Still I got to my seat and was determined to have an amazing time. I figured I was just not meant to hear Blood on Blood that night. So the concert is amazing and Jon was in a GREAT mood. In the back of my mind I am thinking.. damn maybe he would have played it if i had my sign. I had made eye contact with Jon a few times that night and was just feeling like if I could somehow have gotten that sign in it would have been played. But i tried not to dwell on that. Then all of a sudden I caught a glimpse of the setlist on the big screen when they showed a close up of David. Lo and behold Blood on Blood was on the setlist an audible. At this point I am like I have to somehow get this song played.

I'm asking everyone around me if they have a marker a pen, anything to write with. Finally someone gives me a pen. I dig around and remember i did manage to sneak in a smaller sign I made for Richie. The back of the sign was blank. This was my chance. After the last song I start scribbling in the dark my I've been a good girl please play BOB. I'm trying to do this before the band comes back on stage for the first encore. I'm writing so fast and scribbling with this pen and thinking God can he even read this???? I had no light at all because the band had left the stage and i was using the light of my brothers cell phone to see what I was doing. lol

Finally the guys come back out and I am screaming trying to get Jon's attention. They start the encore with Welcome, then BTBMB and Treat Her Right. During BTBMB Jon sees my sign looks at me and gives me this look and little grin like "We'll see" I'm thinking no way is he doing it.

Well the next thing i know Jon is standing right smack in front of me squinting at my sign trying to read it. And then he does. He starts reading slowly out loud my sign. At this point I am DYING! He looks right at me and smiles and says "How good have you really been?"... So I'm screaming I've been very good and he gives me this smile - At this point I am up on the big screen it's just me and Jon having a conversation and he goes we're gonna do a Xmas song first. Such a tease! So they break into Run Run Rudolph and then after that he says "So, the girl in the front row wants to hear Blood on Blood.. what do ya say guys and he looks at the band and they are pretending to talk it over... and then he looks at me and he's like allright lets do it Blood on blood this is for you... and that's it.... I was gone!

The way he sang it that night God he sounded UNBELIEVABLE. Jon's voice was great and he sang it with a lot of passion.... he looked RIGHT at me the whole time.. I kept mouthing thank you at him, blew him a kiss and at the end he kind of leaned forward... winked right at me gave me this great smile and kind of laughed and shook his head and said "Merry Xmas young lady!!!"

I SERIOUSLY was thisclose to tears. In fact there are still days that I will watch a concert or listen to a bootleg and remind myself that he basically sang and dedicted a song to me!

The entire time he was singing Jon kept looking at me and giving me the most sincere smile like that looked like he was thinking to himself "I hope I am making you happy by singing this!" He was laughing because when he finally said "all right let's do it" I was jumping up and down freaking out screaming BLOOOOOOD ON BLOOOOOD!!!!!!!!!!!

Everytime i think about how he said "For the girl in front this is for you".... I STILL cannot believe he was talking to me.....

Damn how many time i saw that review... lol!

Hmm... Maybe that is why i put some of you have heard this before at the very beginning of my post.. so if you knew the story you wouldn't/didn't have to read it again if you didn't want to. And FYI, since you asked how many times i have seen that review i believe i've posted it three times total, once in my concert review, once because someone asked about my old signature, and now.

(cue me on the big screen) JBJ: "How good have you been? Oh My God!" (laughs, more teasing) JBJ: "You want it huh, you want it huh? Blood on Blood just for you, the good girl in the front row? The all request hour, the girl in the front row has just asked for Blood on Blood, ok, Merry Christmas young lady!" Amazing <3
