The FOX Theater in Atlanta, Georgia was a great venue for seeing the band. I believe it holds about 4500 people. It's got an Egyptian/Moorish design. If you look up, it looks like the stars are shining above your head. It's a beautiful place and has great sound. It was also nice to see them in such a small setting.

As far as arenas go, I think the Savvis Center (I think it's Scottrade Center now) in St. Louis and the Qwest Center in Omaha both have really good sound.

I saw the band at Giants Stadium and wasn't impressed with the venue. The sound wasn't that great and the concert was subject to the whims of the weather. It cured me of any desire to attend more outdoor shows.

The best venue I've ever been in--and the one I'd MOST like to see Bon Jovi in--is the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. It has hardwood floors and wooden benches that are curved into the shame of a semicircle surrounding the stage. It was designed for music and has amazing acoustics. There's not a bad seat in the house.

When did Jovi play the Fox, Becky? A long time ago or some special little show? That would be INCREDIBLE.

Nice to know that the "new" arena in St. Louis has good sound. That was built after I moved to Atlanta. I remember the old (and I do mean OLD) Arena/Checkerdome! It was quite an old barn.

Wasn't the Ryman originally a church? No wonder the acoustics are superb.

sorry mate but I couldn't disagree more - the sound at twickers was awful, great stadium but just to much echo and not much atmosphere.

my favorite venue was the Molineux in Wolverhampton - its my home town and the sound and atmosphere was amazing, 35,000 crammed in on a hot summers day - awesome.

I've seen them twice at the Manchester City stadium and twice at Twickenham stadium, and much preferred the former. I suppose that it was nicer in Twickenham to have facilities less of a walk from the GC area but I liked the Manchester City stadium more overall.

Was a promo show just before Bounce came out in 2002, Chris Tarrant and Capital FM put together some bizarre multi-act show headlined by Bon Jovi, and featuring Toploader, Appleton, and some band which was sort of Mike And The Mechanics, but not (I forget the details)

The setlist was:

1. Livin' On A Prayer
2. You Give Love A Bad Name
3. It's My Life
4. Undivided
5. Everyday
6. Bounce
07. Wanted Dead Or Alive
08. Keep The Faith
09. Bad Medicine / Shout

Was my first time seeing the band, and although it was a short show it was really good, it seemed really intense in an arena. And hearing Undivided and Bounce for the first time was awesome!

Did you go to show on the Bounce tour at Old Trafford in Manchester ?

I thought that was a better show than the two at Man City and the atmosphere was second to none! I even thought that show was better than Hyde Park which was the next day!

Was it really only 9 songs??!! I remember it being a short set and was hoping they would come back for an encore, but they didn't sadly. Wembley arena is not the best sounding venue but it was a good set from the boys.
