I think that would be a pretty good opener.

(cue me on the big screen) JBJ: "How good have you been? Oh My God!" (laughs, more teasing) JBJ: "You want it huh, you want it huh? Blood on Blood just for you, the good girl in the front row? The all request hour, the girl in the front row has just asked for Blood on Blood, ok, Merry Christmas young lady!" Amazing <3

They can't be any worse than Joan Osborne, or Toploader, or uhm....just about any other Bon Jovi opening act in recent years with the exceptions of MB20 and Gun and Skunk Anansie (I know others will say Nickelback, but I don't like 'em. Even MB20 sucked at the show I saw them, but they were a good band.)

I've been a rock metal fan since 1986 but I love Big and Rich - what they do and how they do it is really no different than aerosmith, bon jovi etc.

They play damn good music, a lot of it very rocky and put on a spectacle of a show - the uk would love it.

Maybe not, but they are hardly going to get the greatest reception. A) Because 95% of the people wouldn't know who the hell they were and B) They would be a Country band supporting what most of us would like to think are a rock band!

Has Gun been opening for Bon Jovi? When was this? Their album Swagger is great.

They opened for them at Ibrox in 96. They were freakin' awesome, especially as it was a home town gig for them. Best support act i've ever seen for them actually...had the whole crowd into "word up" especially.

Of all the acts I've seen open for Bon Jovi, I'd say that Big and Rich put on a better show than: Skid Row, Sage, Extreme, Dokken, Billy Falcon, Less Than Jake, all of the "be Bon Jovi's opening act" local band entries, and especially the Goo Goo Dolls who gave probably the worst performance I've ever seen of any band ever.

Billy Falcon has opened for the band in the past? Neat.
