Unfortunately they cant get young cool acts to open for them anymore, they were pretty lucky getting Nickleback. The only one id realistically like to see again would be MB20 - dunno if it might coincide with the release of their Greatest Hits.

Don't think they'd have any trouble getting AAR to open for them, seeing as they're big fans and appeared on Unplugged with them

I don't think it would take much to talk any "cool young act" into opening for Bon Jovi. There aren't many artists who can sell out stadiums on their own and probably not many who would turn down the opportunity to play to 50,000 people every night.

Speaking of MB20, are they getting back together or is Rob Thomas going to stay solo?

Well, I'm one of the few who hated Nickelback, and almost every Jovi support since 96 come to think of it.

Live were average, so were NB, so was MB20 (although, I love them normally, but they were just crud when I saw them).

To be honest, I've lost complete interest in who supports them.....

Yeay i don't really care who opens for them. The opening act obviously has no impact on whether i will go to a show or not. It just is a pleasent surprise when the opener is someone good. And for me the only openers i liked were Nickelback. I personally just don't like Big and Rich, that's all.

Oh and I'm with Becky on this one, of the three shows i saw on the Bounce tour the Goo's were abysmal. I don't think they can use the excuse of having an off night cause they sucked everytime i saw them. And i used to like them before seeing them live.

The all request hour, the girl in the front row has just asked for Blood on Blood, ok, Merry Christmas young lady!" Amazing <3

All American Rejects would be a step up over Big and Rich imo. And yes they are big fans of BJ so that would make sense to have them open. And Jon obviously likes them so they could have the edge. I am pretty much obsessed with the band Hinder and I would love to see them open up for BJ. They'll have a new album to promote come Feb so they will still be touring but as much as i like them i don't know if they would be a good fit for Jovi. A girl can dream though. Like AAR Hinder are big fans of Bon Jovi as well, they cover BOR and come onstage to Let It Rock. I'm not sure what Jon thinks of them though and we know he loves AAR soooo.... we'll see.

Another band i would like to see is Daughtry supporting them. I would say that they are considered "young and cool". I know they are supporting them for the 10 day Newark stand and think they would be a good draw to do the whole tour. I saw them open for Nickelback and while i am a huge Daughtry fan and their album is still selling great they really should remain an opening act for a while imo.. and who better to open for and learn from than Bon Jovi?

Personally I just feel like Big and Rich and Bon Jovi on the same bill is a little too mis-matched. It would be the equivalent of going to a Metallica show and having the opener be someone like Clay Aiken... all my opinion of course.
