If the choice of a support act could kill a career this would have happened years ago. Relax!

I would love to see B&R live in Europe and I would love to hear the "real" We got it goin on.

Bad choice.
But,
If the terrible Toploader/Live/Nickelback couldn't kill them, Big & Rich sure won't.

when has a choice of opening band ever affected a band's credibility? That's just stupid.

Anyway, the last decent opening acts for Jovi were back on the These Days tour. They've rarely had anyone decent since (the Goo's and MB20 being exceptions, but even MB20 weren't good when I saw them play)

I agree with you on that. They also played that Capital FM show and sucked then too. Possibly the worst band I've ever seen live.

everytime toploader gets mentioned as an opening act, the comment is usually the same. horrible, bad, etc. i don't think i've heard a positive comment about them here on this board.

i've never heard of toploader. should i even bother to research these guys? what kind o music do they make? why do you think they're bad?

does anyone have a link to a video of them opening for BJ?

just really curious.

Ever heard the song 'Dancing In The Moonlight'?

That's Toploader.

Lead singer looked like a cross between Mick Hucknall from Simply Red and Jesus, at least going by the sandals he was wearing. They were kinda' ridiculous cheesy pop.
