Aloha !

The biggest tour for Jon means the tour on which he makes the most money. However, a big tour means playing in front of a lot of people, which is why the 1995 tour was the biggest.

1995 Tour:
29 dates for Europe x at least 30.000 people per show = at least 870.000 people

HAND Tour:
13 dates for Europe x at least 30.000 people per show = at least 510.000 people

It's obvious that the 1995 tour was their biggest tour ever.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Even if there'll be a few more dates, it'll never be 29 dates. Also, there's no average of 50.000 when going to a Bon Jovi show, but merely 30.000 - 40.000. Of the 13 shows in Europe back in 2006 only 3 were sold out.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

These Days obviously WAS the best tour, its pretty much a fact. They had the whole back catalogue, with a very good new album. Jons voice was at its best etc etc. It was the best tour!

Again, opinion. I'd take Jon's voice on the New Jersey Tour anyday to the These Days Tour. Around 95 is when I started to notice a change in the strength of Jon's voice. Listen to Wanted from Live In London, then listen to Wanted from the Moscow Music Peace Festival. No comparison.

In terms of the back catalogue, that's not always a good thing. In 1988-89, they only had 4 albums out, including their 2 best (Slippery and New Jersey). Though the shows were shorter, we got much more from those albums than we do today.

In the US, it was probably their smallest tour. It's the only tour I recall them only doing 1 leg of.

They played 232 shows on the NJ tour, for more than 3 million people. I'd say that was the tour they played in front of the most people for. Monetarily speaking, whatever their current tour is always the biggest because they keep jacking up prices.
