They played too many shows in the UK, the Manchester and Birmingham concerts were both fairly poorly attended (relative to capacity) and no doubt many fans from the West Midlands would have normally travelled to Manchester, so each show took sales from one another.

Even at their 'most popular' in the 1995 I think they played London X3, Sheffield, Gateshead and Cardiff. in 1996 I think they only played MK x 2 + Manchester in England - at £23 per ticket!! A the height of the UK These Days success and arguably better economic times.

1 concert too many in England/Wales and the tickets were too expensive across the board.

Totally agree..i was at Machester and it did looked packed, however if they were not at Villa Park the next day then i imagine it would have been sold out nearly.

I am glad to see the figures for Sofia, Bulgaria. As of now, we are the 4 biggest draw in terms of crowd attendance and the 9th in terms of gross proceeds. Not bad for a country no one takes seriously. I hope that Jon takes these numbers into consideration when mapping the next European trek

i think these figures shows us a couple of things...
1. bon jovi can still fill stadiums around the world
2.if the prices were lower then the demand would be much higher
3.the band has overtoured many markets...the demand is there in order to make the tour really profitable for jon but he should wait and come up with an album he feels proud and wants to play in its entirety and not cliche/slogan titles that are dated and cringworthy...
4.this tour will be no.1 in the end of the year, jon may finally gather the millions he needs to buy his own team, but in the end this album and this tour will mostly be remembered because of all the fails that happened

Oh, really? I had been waiting for this concert for 15 f***ing long years and it was supposed to be the event of the year for me. I had every right to be disappointed, regardless of the fact that Jon was not to blame for this stupid allergy. I thought that you would all understand me. Instead, you just started bashing me and telling me to get over it. When the band axed the Glasgow show without providing any explanation, you didn't trash the fans who went to that show leaving disappointed. Yet, because I am from Bulgaria and no one gives a f*** about this small country, you decided to attack me when I was as upset as never before. Apart from a couple of fans, I got no understanding whatsoever from the vast majority of the posters here. Does that mean that I no longer deserve to be treated with respect? If you think yes, then your logic is as perverted as it could possibly get.

I feel like having a deja vu all over again whenever you post about your frustrations in regards to the show in Bulgaria, but feel free to elaborate on your frustrations just so the 2 people who are not aware of what happened will get a clue.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan
