Bit of advice...

Hey Guys,

Thinking about getting me and my sister Gold Circle tickets for Hyde Park. I've come across a pair on Gumtree. The lady says that she can't go and that their fan club priority Gold tickets. She says her sister, Carol will be there to get us in because we can only get those if we're with the person who bought them?

She also said she will send me a confirmation email as well plus her sisters number so I can contact her.

Was just wondering if all this sounds reliable?

It will work as long as Carol shows up in time. Normally the FC will call tickets will be available sometime aroud 2 pm or so. By that time, there´s inevitably going to be a lot of people standing in line already.

And to get the tickets, the original buyer of the tickets will have to present his/her ID.

It comes down to trusting or not trusting the seller.

Gumtree offers none of the insurance that Ebay does so you really have to use your best judgement and make sure you get as much info out of the person as possible.

Make sure the tickets are genuine before you buy them and only pay them with cash. I've done a few deals through the site and it's been fine.
