Default Bit of info bout the summer US tour from the fanclub

I don't want to post everythin that was said in fear of dis-respecting the fan clubs policies but...There's a giant ramp on the tour and inside the ramped area are the fan club people. And it's GENERAL ADMISSION for the fan club.

So...food for thought there. I don't know how I feel about this.

EDIT: Nevermind.

BON JOVI : TOUR INFO
(Monday, April 17, 2006)
With so much going on in the BON JOVI Touring World, here's some general information we thought you all might light to have. It might answer some questions (and hey, it might raise a few new ones) but here what we know:

BON JOVI - STADIUMS in EUROPE (MAY/JUNE)
Traditionally, stadium shows in Europe have been General Admission on the pitch (or floor.) Fans purchase their General Admission tickets and make their way as close to the stage as they choose for the concert they attend. At some venues, there is a Gold Circle -- the area closest to the stage. Those tickets were premium and those ticketholders will be allowed in that area. There are barricaded sections on the floor to address security concerns. For he stadium tours in May and June in Europe, this plan will continue. Members of Backstage With Jon Bon Jovi, the Official Fan Club, will be given the same privilege their membership has allowed them in recent tours (early entrance.) The details will be posted closer to show dates at www.backstagejbj.com

BON JOVI - JULY OUTDOOR DATES
For the July summer leg of the Have A Nice Day tour, the band will be introducing a new stage design. There will be a large elliptical ramp that extends out from stage right and stage left out into the crowd that allows the artist to walk along it. The section within that ellipse will be General Admission. Beyond the elliptical ramp will be sections of reserved seats. This is the case for all the football stadiums and the one baseball stadium announced for July. (In Montreal, where the venue is an open field, the entire event is General Admission.) **FAN CLUB tickets for dates announced so far will be General Admission. More details will be available at the fan club website (www.backstagejbj.com)

AUCTIONS
There will be online auctions for upcoming summer Bon Jovi shows.. A limited number of General Admission and a larger number of premium reserved seats will be part of the auction process. These are legitimate if found via the ticketing system being used by the venue to sell regular tickets to this show.

Hey Captain~ I saw this and I was also afraid to post LOL! From the way it is worded it says two more shows will be announced tomorrow and they too will be the same way with the ramp and the GA inside the ramp.

My question though is are the last two stadium shows going to be announced tomorrow and follow this format and then do you think the REST of the shows are going to be at smaller venues.. i.e. Not in Stadiums? I am really hoping they play more than JUST STADIUMS!

(cue me on the big screen) JBJ: "How good have you been? Oh My God!" (laughs, more teasing) JBJ: "You want it huh, you want it huh? Blood on Blood just for you, the good girl in the front row? The all request hour, the girl in the front row has just asked for Blood on Blood, ok, Merry Christmas young lady!" Amazing <3

Although I have never been to one I think stadium shows seem very impersonal. You are most likely going to be SOOOOO far away from the stage. I really hope they do some of the outdoor venues they did on the summer Bounce leg. Fingers crossed for SPAC!!! I admit I am a concert snob.... I like to be super close for at least one show. And I know there is no way in hell I will be close to the stage at Giants. But I can handle that if I know I am going to get awesome seats for a different show.

BTW did the date for Montreal get announced? I never saw it but that info implies they definitely are doing Montreal.. i just wasn't aware of that..

I'm gonna be super-cranky if they said "In Montreal, where the venue is an open field, the entire event is General Admission." and then aren't playing Montreal. That's not an implication, that's a statement.
