why does Jon do any show at all is what I wonder ? Does he need the money ? really ?? or is it some fear that the potential audience would forget him ?

Because they are musicians and playing is what they do??? I think off tour years allow them to say yes to festivals and one off events that they get asked to do, but can't fit into their own tour schedule. Plus they get to play some different places and such than they play on their own tours.

No, he doesn't need the money. Bon Jovi could've called it quits in 1989 and they would've been more than set for life. But they didn't, because they love the music (and the money).

Both might be a part of the reason. Sure the money is great with it and everyone would take advantage of it….but I will always say that absolutely the most important reason is love for the music and the adrenaline and excitement they get from playing in front of thousands of fans at live shows like that. It’s a harmless addiction they simple have to feel at least couple of times per year. It’s great for them and even better for us – fans.

That's their job, they love what they do. Music and performing is in their blood and yes, the money isn't bad either but it's not all money and that's it. We miss them performing and they miss it too.

Bon Jovi only want money. They hate what they do. They don't care about the fans. Jon is a disgrace. Richie has no idea. Tico and Dave lack a spine.
