That was to be expected, he always sounds like shit doing one of gigs. He never hits the Livin On A Prayer part before the solo though. Hiliving hon ha praayyyyyyyyyahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Yeah that was bad, he's well aware of it, you can tell by the expression of his face and the clearing of his throat when he puts the mic to the crowd. Off tours, Dave is probably the best singer in the band lol....

I think those are in the vocal realm of a young man in his twenties, not a fifty year old. Hey, guys - the catalogue needs to be refreshed. I think we can all agree on that.

He sounds dreadful. Surely he must know by now that he's very likely to sound this bad at these one off shows, so it really surprises me that he doesn't put more effort to get/keep his voice in shape for events like these. How any professional, let alone a guy like Jon with his mentality and the reputation that Bon Jovi carries as a live band, can knowingly go out in front of tens of thousands of people (now usually millions with youtube) and be that bad is astonishing. Surely he must feel a large sense of embarrassment after an effort like that.

Good, bad, or indifferent, I'm just glad we have something to discuss. Bring on the new record . . .
