Default bj in spain this year

another topic related to the 'aussies' topic.

here in spain we have the same problem as you. don't know why, but since 'these days' the guys don't come here to do a show. they came a lot of times to do promotion (like they did in the 'crush' release, or when they came to the mtv awards in bcn), but nothing about doing a full concert.

it's true they did an small acoustic concert in bcn a few months ago, but it was just because the were doing the mtv awards.

reasons for this? i have some:

1. the guys are getting older... i mean, they have a 'respectable' position (fame and money), so they don't need to go everywhere.

2. no promotors will mount a show. well, i don't think so, cause the three times they played here (jersey, faith and days) it was a completely sold out (indeed, in the last 'these days' tour they came to three cities - madrid, barcelona and gijon. normaly, they only came to mad and bcn).

3. last time bj played in madrid, jon got ill because his 'alergy' (i don't know if this illness is called like that in english: it's whe n you got red eyes and cough because of spring and flowers...). he can't finish the concert (they did it short than they planned, and richie helped a lot with the vocals). so maybe jon is afraid of suffering that again by the way, he says that because of that, he owed something to the spanish fans... til now!

maybe they did a concert in summer here, if i still believe in miracles...
