BJ's live show is weak..

Playing difficult music has nothing to do with how great or powerful a show is. It has more to do with how the music is played and how well the artist invokes emotion into both the music and the audience. I think Jon does really well at giving emotion to the songs by way of both his voice and his onstage performance. He and the band gives life to the music and makes the audience feel involved.

I think i should have gone and seen GNR when they came over listerning you talk about them,i'll try next time they come over

Stop quoting The Bible and accept it.
Bon Jovi are far away from their best performances.Axl has actually improved vocally whereas Jon has become weaker and weaker.

Buckethead is a hell of a guitarist and all the pirotehnichs in a GnR show are better.

But comparing for example the MUSIC PEACE FESTIVAL to any GnR show makes the Gunners look like lousy musicians.

What is wrong with quoting from The Bible? And this post is your own opinion, nothing more nothing less. Accept that people have different opinions and tastes than you. My opinion is that guns n roses have strayed so far from what they used to be. Im a fan of their older stuff, but that's about it. Axl just needs to quit alltogether and get his life staight. Bon Jovi may have experimented with different things, but they are still true to who they are. It shows in their music and their on stage performance.

Have you actually heard their new stuff including The Blues and Madagascar and so on...

He tried that for several years, thought he had it alltogether in 2000 but had a mental breakdown during the Chinese Democracy tour in the US.

Hehehe..talk to people who have actually seen the new GNR live, including myself, and then tell me how far they have strayed. Seb is right about The Blues and Madagascar as they are two awesome songs.

Axl did have a bit of a breakdown, but also a huge fight with Clear Channel. I can't help but wonder if it had something to do with the fact that in Philly, they were selling concert tickets for GNR's second night there for 10 bucks. I can't see Axl being too pleased with that, but of course it is speculation on my part. I was there when he didn't show up the first night in Philly, and although disappointed, can't bring myself to hate the man. Besides, the riots afterwards were amusing and gave me quite a story to tell.
