Yeah, he'll play the turd that is "I Love This Town" every second night.....but "Fear"? Once in the last 18 years. It makes me want to slap him.

The song can't be played in a different key. The riff is in a certain key that would sound odd transposed into a different key. Combine that with the 2 key changes in the song it'd be a bitch to play it live. No way Jon would be able to sing Blame now, he struggled with it back in 1993 already and it's one of the hardest vocals he ever recorded.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan
I was actually refering to Fear, not Blame. Regardless, I think the chances of us ever hearing either of those songs again are slim and none.

How is this one of the hardest vocal he's ever recorded? It is certainly not his highest vocal. And I don't think it is any faster than Something for the Pain? His voice had a tone back then he certainly couldn't produce, but other than that, I could certainly see them do this. I should say, capable of doing this.
dude that you for your sig.....i LOVE those lyrics.....

I would love to hear Fear. It's a really cool song. It's a bit tough to sing, but no harder than Let it Rock, which Jon sounded good on last year.

True. Maybe JBJ's best. And the whoa whoa whoa's even have more emotion than the lyrics. The whole song is brilliant.

I did. I was a 17 year old boy so I got pretty bored with it. the scene where he speaks up is pretty funny "...and I'm flattered that you like my ass..." ha ha that is all I remember. That is a pretty good story. It's sad and Jon nailed it. Very well written song.

Sleep and Blame are the same damn song.
It doesnt matter if they are not the same musically. Thematically they both go on and on about the love of rock and roll. I appreciate that some people want to hear Blame, but it's bad enough they keep doing Sleep.
