He's a great guitarist but he's more of a session/cover player he can't solo for shit but he is good at the rhythm stuff

I hate the fact Bobby plays the 'In These Arms' solo, I'd love Richie to take that one back. Generally though I don't have a problem with him being there- I think a second guitar helps beef up some of the songs. 'Bad Name' is one that comes to mind as I think that sometimes sounded a bit weedy when played live with just Richie.

I think Bobby's an excellent musician with solid backing vocals (check out JBJ solo live stuff). I just wish he wouldn't play the solos on In These Arms and Wild In The Streets. Not only because it's not Richie, I just don't like the way he plays them.

I remember that, excellent! They played Drift Away almost every night on one leg of the Slippery tour. Not going to happen, but this song would work "out on the circle."
