Bon Jovi, Taylor Swift and James Blunt are to perform live at Kensington Palace at a charity concert arranged by Prince William.

Only 750 tickets will be available for the first ever concert at the west London palace, which will raise funds for the Centrepoint charity.

The Centrepoint Winter Whites Gala will take place November 26 with Eliza Doolittle completing the line-up. Jon Bon Jovi will be honoured on the night for his own charity work while young people from the charity will perform with the street dance group Flawless.

The Sunday Times reports that the concert will take place in the state apartments that are open to the public, not in the private area of the palace that is home to William, his wife Kate and their baby, George. Other members of the royal family, including Prince Harry, also live in the same private quarters. William and his family recently moved into Kensington Palace following a £1.1m renovation.

It is reported that 500 tickets for the gig will be on sale via the charity’s website, priced at £500 each. A further 250 'VIP' tickets will also be on sale to members of the public who want to pay more to attend a royal reception and a dinner in the Kensington Palace orangery. A charity auction will take place on the night of the concert to increase funds.

Old news......

Guest numbers have changed though according to that information.
The charity website has been selling the £500 VIP tickets for a couple of weeks now, of which there are only 200 available.
Interested to see what the price is for the supposed other 500+ tickets.
