I thought this was a hilarious little "news article" (if that's what it is). I am to see the Stones on Oct 21, and I am really looking forward to it. They don't have the same zing for me that Jovi does but I really want to see them live.

I read the posts at the other board and honestly, I agree with those who said the comments weren't even that bad. Some of the stones fans there seemed to borderline on "liking" the Bon Jovi music!!

Bon Jovi approach Rolling Stones for wembley show.

The American band Bon Jovi approached The Rolling Stones for playing at the opening of the rebuilt wembley stadium. Bon Jovi and the old British rockers, will be the first on 11 june 2006 to perform in the new wembley stadium. The Stones will do the slot act, Bon Jovi will perform as opener. This combination sounds weird to music lovers. Jon Bon Jovi said: We arranged it already, it doesn't bother me if the Rolling Stones open or headline the show. Bon Jovi was the last band who performed in the "old" Wembley Stadium before it came down.

Its so stupid how everyones blowin this whole thing out of proportion...

I listened to the radio interview as Jon mantioned it, and he mentioned it for a joke like after the radio presenter quizzed him by sayin they had heard that the rollin stones wanted to open the webley stadium, and jon simply replied summit like well they can open the wembley stadium if they really want to, they can be the support act..just playin around sayin it...and now everyone is goin on about it makin a big deal about it...puh

and bon jovi havnt approached the rolling stones at all about the proposition...

Am I getting something wrong, or BJ are opening for Rolling Stones?
Wasnt it just a joke, and it should be RS opening for BJ?
