As someone who just simply doesn't get to many concerts, sound and venue mean feck all to me. I'd rather see my band than miss out 'cause I'm not gonna hear Richie's already low-in-the-mix guitar anyway.

Last time i went to Hard Rock Calling, both Aerosmith and the main support (Chris Cornell) got 90 minutes.

Lets be honest if JBJ wants toor gets the chance he WILL play a short set. He,s already doing a short uk tour and cashing in so if he can play on autopilot he will. It,ll depend on his time of the month.

Yes but unfortunately there is only one Bruce.

If it is the only London show then yes I believe BJ will play around 2 hrs.

Aerosmith are totally slack these days. Even if it wasn't a festival, they'd only be on stage 1 1/2 at the most.

Pearl Jam, Stevie Wonder & Paul McCartney all played 2 hours + last year.

Does anybody know who else will be playing at the Hard Rock Calling? I have tickets booked to see The Gaslight Anthem here in Dublin in a few weeks and it says on ticketmaster "See The Gaslight Anthem at Hard Rock Calling", and if you click on the link it takes you to the page to buy tickets for Bon Jovi at HRC.

I probably wouldn't consider travelling to London to see a festival show but if The Gaslight Anthem were playing too, that would definitely add to the appeal. What do you guys think? They played last year with Bruce, maybe this year too?

Actually for this year's festival, lineups were revealed only in spring, so you've gotta long time to wait. I doubt about The Gaslight Anthem, just because they played this year's festival, I doubt they'll be invited 2nd year in a row, unless they suddenly become a popular band worldwide.

Yeah, because Jon always plays short sets when he wants to, I mean the whole The Circle Tour has been nothing but same 20-song sets with no changes. If you look at the latest shows of the tour and compare them to the first, it's totally the same songs...NOT.
