Places they played multiple nights in the winter (Philly, Chicago) they would be better off outdoors for anyway. They can play one night and have the same number of people, or a few more, then they would have for two nights. It has to be more cost effective and they are probably going to sell one night in these cities out.

Thats stupid, playing USA for zilliont time indoor rather then touring eastern Europe and playing stadiums... Looks like they are keeping it for Best Of Tour.

It some degree has nothing to do with the band themsleves and their popularity and has something to do with money being tight and people worrying about tht recession.

However, even the summer 2006 HAND show in Philly at Citizen's Bank Ball Park did not sell extremely well and Philly is also a major market for the band.

And I still hope that there will be a second European leg in August althought it seems quite unbelievable now.

The whole uncertain tour dates mess makes me wonder if maybe Richie's legal woes have an influence on the band's abilities to do more overseas shows. I don't imagine he is considered a flight risk, but in many felony cases, travel out of the country is a "by permission only" thing.
Hope not, but who knows

Think it's safe to assume, if there's a Boston show, it'll be before those dates?

JUST ANNOUNCE THE REST OF THE DAMN SHOWS ALREADY!!!!
