This is great and the price is pretty good as well....Can anyone with experience with these huge festivals fill us in on the goods. How big are the crowds/how difficult a ticket will this be. It looks like its a bit outside Madrid, do they run transportation once its over. I assume with the culture in Spain they will start pretty late?

Thanks for any general festival info....

Default Rock in Rio Madrid

Hey there from Madrid!

I am going to try to give answers to some of the questions on this topic:

1.- Rock in Rio takes place in Arganda, which is Madrid outskirts. There are buses which take you there (RIR) for free (showing your ticket) from Santiago Bernabeu Stadium. You can also reach Arganda by metro (but I don't know how far the metro station is from the venue)

2.- You can get tickets from February, the 23rd, only at El Corte Inglés (guess they will also be selling them online) www.elcorteingles.es [69 € day ticket]

3.- A crowd of around 80,000 people is expected for that day, June the 4th.

4.- Concert time, never before 23:00.

5.- No other bands confirmed so far. Soon to be announced though.

If it's as good as last years, I'll eat my hat(have to buy one first, though).

Hope it is for all those planning to go.

Hello!

Anybody from Spain here? I'm from Santiago, Chile, have planned a vacation trip to visit various places in Europe (last week of May/first week of June), and has coincided with the day to see Bon Jovi live in Rock In Rio Madrid.

I've been trying to see them live for a long time, and is now a unique opportunity. It's my first time in Europe and I am very nervous about how to get a ticket.

Any help would be eternally grateful.

Any information is appreciated by PM.

Greetings,

Tickets on sale now on El Corte Ingles online or by rock in rio site. Already got mine

After buying online the tickets, they can be adquired in any El Corte Ingles in Spain, or in the day of the show on the site of the event.
