Default Bon Jovi;Congrats on a great tour

Personally i'd like to congratulate Jon and the boys for a great tour.

I managed to see the boys 3 times in Australia 2 in melbourne and the last show of 2010 in Sydney.

What a fantastic performance they put on for us, for all 3 shows down under.

While it ain't cheap to see Bj these days(excuse the pun) They are still the greatest band on this planet.TheY shit all over everybody..if you don't believe me, Go and pay the same amount of money or a little bit less to see bands that will give you 30mins of guitar and bass solos and about an 1hr of music.

Bon Jovi might not play all your favourites but they definitely change the set list which is more than what other bands do.Over the 3 nights in Australia they played 30 different songs. That's just incredible. You'd be lucky to have a Kiss or Acdc EVEN CHANGE ONE SONG IN THERE SET.

All in all this is to stick it to some of you who think this band should retire.

Wake up to yourselves. The band still shows the passion almost 30 years later.Sure you will get a show or 2 where things will go wrong or Jon will play the diva. But that Diva knows how to put on one hell of a show and Richie,Dave, and Tico deserve a huge rest and a huge slap on the back.

Bobby and Hugh also deserve congrats.

So please whether you're into Slippery ,Lost Highway or just a new fan coming on board. There is something for everybody with this band.

Long Live Bon Jovi.

It's funny you say that as they also played 28 different songs in ONE night.

Couldn't agree more. Everybody has their favourites and dislikes and not everybody will agree with each other. This band spans all age brackets and the day they retire will be a big loss to a lot people.

Spot on. Everyone says how great U2 is....no comparison to a Jovi show. And U2 charges huge money as well. Bono talks/lectures on politics & famine etc....when he should just sing. Bon Jovi give 100%, they acknowledge the fans with smiles, points, shout outs etc....they just kick ass. Nothing compares.

I'm going to see Iron Maiden on Saturday and I know exactly what they'll play as they've played the same set for either whole tour, same with Whitesnake last month. Both will go little over 90 minutes too. You certainly do get value for money with a Bon Jovi gig, as long as you don't go for the fine dining DC option.

However, the stage set-up for Maiden on Saturday will be better than anything BJ have ever done - cant wait!

Yes, we shouldn't have an opinion on a message board and we shouldn't argue over anything because the point of a message board isn't to discuss and argue over things, it's to talk about how great the subject is, no matter what they do. Yeah that makes a lot of sense.

Slightly off topic I've got some friends raving about this too, although possibly not the exact same show. I don't understand the love of huge elaborate stages - for me the show lives or dies on the performance of the band - the huge screens are necessary for a big stadium/arena show of course but I never miss the rest.

Can't comment really on the rest of the tour but an awesome show in dublin, so long as the guys come round again and I don't die beforehand it certainly won't be my last

Yep.. totally agree with everything you said .... youll not get a 2 and half to 3 hour set nearly everyn show with any one else and this board would be so boring following anouther band because once the first show is gone we'd have nothing to talk about as the sets always stay the same...

and at PANDA.. not sure any one on this thread said that everyone has to like everything they do and praise them no matter what... we where simply appreciating them a little ...
