Whoo Sebs back!

That was a good read, thanks for that. I haven't followed much of the tour so far, so I hardly know what was played. But judging from your review, I guess I've missed out a lot on this one! It surely feels like they're making up with the fans, they're trying, it's not perfect, but the motivation is there! That's what would be important to me and what I was missing the last tour. To me the lack of motivation last time round was the reason not to do more than one concert this tour. Should I now regret that decision?

I'm very curious how DC sounded. The song got such a legendary status in my mind; I guessed I would never get the chance again to hear this song... ever. I've actually said that if BJ would play DC sometime again - I would be diehard fan again right away. So I guess this is the time . I was worried that they would mess up DC badly, but reading Sebs review, I guess that wasn't the case. And the idea that I thought about packing my bags, take the ticket I was offered and leave for Dusseldorf two days ago... the regret... arg...

Anyway - here's hoping for Nijmegen and such a nice setlist including DC, although I don't set my stakes too high...

Wow! I sure enjoyed reading this. Seb, I'm glad you had a nice time! The energy you describe matches how things felt in Greenville SC. It was different (better) than Charlotte NC. It was definitely BETTER than either of the two shows I caught during "Bounce."

I hope this momentum continues when they hit Giants in July!!!

Thanks for the review

All my "I'm cool about not seeing them" just vanished. I'm so jealous. People - imagine what a great show must have been for Sebastiaan to write such a review.

Wow, I truly enjoyed reading that review! I'm amazed there is not more enthusiasm over here for the fact that DRY COUNTY, after a DECADE, reappeared on the setlist, as if out of nowhere, and according to one of the more critical fans, well-performed, too! I myself won't attend any shows on this tour -I've never seen any BJ shows at all, in fact- and yet I got really really excited for all the die-hards out there who were able to witness this miracle and hopefully will be able to witness it on future shows as well -just wow!! (<--- why are the icons not working properly on this board...??)

EDIT: I just found all the enthusiasm I was looking for in the main Düsseldorf- thread, sorry for kind of jumping the gun... *blush*

WOW, Fantastic review Seb! I really really enjoyed reading it and am so happy you had a terrific time.

Now I only hope they keep up with these kind of setlists and play DC in some - or all- of the European shows I'm going to!

Thanks for the review and the pics!

Great Review Seb.
