ok I checked because i wasn't sure ..I am not askin g them to begin with europe ... no ... but the KTF tour ... they did PROMO from october to december USA EUROPEthen the tour began in february in the usa the hit europe for an extended tour in march .. it's not skipping ...
for Bounce I was there (I wasn't touring for KTF) they began the tour in decmeber january australia japan then usa february march then europe May june .. it's not skipping again .. I was not refering to notr beginning by europe ...just said that if they do stadiums tour if it's noit this summer it will be next summer (2006) and this is way too late AFTER the cd release if it's really spring 2005... I mean for the first leg it's too late ...

Aw Mireille, I think we got a few crossed wires there lol!

All I remember for KTF was that I saw some shows in May & September of 1993 but the album came out late '92. Same for NJ, I saw them on the final leg of that tour months and months after the album came out (I think that's different though, different era etc)

I really think a lot of people that go to Bon Jovi shows in Europe, don't necessarily own every single thing released by the band so the importance of touring for an album in Europe is not the same as it is in the States. I'm sure their record sales in Europe aren't that great - don't quote me, I don't look into specifics or figures but I'm sure a lot of people see them because they are a great live band, but they may not own Crush, Bounce, TFLR, the Box Set. I just don't think it's all about promoting records when it comes to touring over here.

These Days was released a week before the three Wembley Stadium gigs which all sold out months before that. To sell out 3 nights at Wembley without an album to promote as such, that's going some.

Hope that makes a bit more sense!

They sold out the three Wembley Stadiums because it was the Cross Road tour. Many people think it was the These Days tour, but it wasn't. That's why they sold out those shows. Always had been a big hit, Saturday Night had been a hit and This Ain't A Love Song had just been released. It had nothing to do with These Days because the shows had been sold out before These Days had been released.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

jen ok I understand what tyou mean though the KTF tour beagn i think earliet than may in europe ...it was I think march andapril for germany and switzerland

and around october 1992 they did a LOT OF PROMO ...in europe too ...

now I understansd what you mean that at this time they could fill a stadiums without necesseraly having a cd out ... though it was this way because they were constantly touring ... a lot fo ppl mixed crush and own as it was one tour per year ... what i mean if that they tour in 2006 for a cd out in 2005 with their last tour in 2003 in europe it might be a little bit different situation... the fans die hard will be there with no problem the commen regular fans might need to make a connection with a cd .... so I hope they won't put too much time between the cd out and the tour here ....

It may have started up as a Crossroads tour when the tickets went on sale but it certainly was a These Days tour by the time it hit Wembley. They played plenty of material off the album, my ticket said These Days on it, and so did my programme and my t-shirt Sounds like a These Days tour to me.

I still think if dates went on sale now, even without a new CD in the shops, they would sell well. Regardless of a new album they are a big name, simple as that.

I TOTALLY agree with that !!!! This is why I am wondering why they don't do it ? I know they are waiting for the album but I also think they could announce their dates WAY BEFORE the album they have absolutely NO RISK taken

Right now, I'd be happy only with a YES/NO announcement...I want to know if they'll tour, they dont have to tell the dates if they dont want to, but if a tour is in the works, they know it by know, and it'd be much appreciated...
