The way to change the things is not to sign petitions and renew your membership. As long as they get your money they have no need to change anything.
That's the problem. People are complaining and making petitions and the same day they pay the fee and the membership charge and so on. Why should the FC change anything? They have all they want: your money.

Exactly, don't renew, simple as! I can guarantee those shouting the loudest over there will all renew.

Although nice to see some more tickets became available for the Canada shows at a more reasonable price, shows they are at least taking some notice.

Very good idea. Do Not Renew!

Once the number of members decline, surely they'll notice this and take some positive action.

So, DO NOT renew.

A petition doesn't take you anywhere as long as people still pay. The only way to show them how you like what they do is to close you wallet.

I don't agree with everything in this petition because I am the first one who yelled hooray when they stopped these camp outs for shows in the USA. Finally every fc-member is treated equal no matter where he lives.

We'll see how they arrange it for Europe. That we have to pay for our early entrance is for sure though.

I still don't get why local fans should get advantage to purchase tickets for their local shows. Every fanclub member paid the same charge. And every fc member should have the oppurtunity to buy tickets for a show. A member who has to fly thousands of miles and pay for the travel should have the same chance to get a fanclub ticket like others.

I agree that the fees for tickets are to high. This fanclub is all about money. I won't renew anyway.

Im feel the same way, wont sign it cos of the local fans thing.
Everyone pays the $50 so everyone gets the same chance at tickets.

It is looking like we will have to pay for early entrance in Europe though.
Just have to wait and see.

Trouble is we want to see them play and get a good chance of seeing them close if possible and Matt knows this and he knows he'll get enough people willing to pay no mater how much we complain , so he can go on taking the piss out of us

Exactly Jen. I think there are a lot of empty threats being made. And I live in NJ so my chance of being shut out is HUGE for NJ shows but I have to agree that I think "everyone" should have a chance at tickets for all shows. I think they could maybe do a "window of time" when they give locals only a chance to buy but that's as far as I would go. The campouts aren't coming back as arenas are too worried about not having liability insurance to cover anyone that may get injured while hanging out on their grounds.

They say time and time again about the 'new and improved fan club', but I've yet to see any improvements.
IMO fan clubs should be totally non-profit making and they should just charge enough money to cover their costs.
Backstage's profit-margin must be huge!

I didn't know that, interesting. If they don't issue the tix randomly tho (O2 wasn't exactly random), the arenas will still find people camping out though I guess.

Supposedly for the Pru shows the tickets have already been sorted and are in envelopes. But, I did see where the 2nd set of fc tickets for the Canada shows say first come, first serve so who the heck knows.
