Bon Jovi Fans Set Record!

Thousands of music fans jammed telephone hotlines this morning as they rushed to buy tickets for Bon Jovi's eagerly awaited date at the KC Stadium this summer.

Almost 10,000 tickets for the June 13th concert were snapped up in less than 4 hours of going on sale at 9am today as fans bombarded the ticket hotlines and stadium ticket office.

The figure sets a new record for the number of tickets sold on the first day of sale for any concert at the KC Stadium to date.

As well as calling the dedicated ticket hotline numbers, fans formed lengthy queues overnight outside the stadium in order to buy tickets as soon as they became available.

The dedicated ticket hotline numbers are:

08700 117 900 (www.ticketzone.co.uk)
0870 145 1114 (www.ticketmaster.co.uk).

Tickets can also be purchased in person from the KC Stadium Ticket Office.

For tickets in disabled areas please call 0870 837 00

Great. How many concerts have taken place there anyway? I'm sure Bon Jovi is only the second.

But if theres only 10,000 who'v actually bought tickets overall then these stats aren't so hot!

I doubt Hull will sell out though, that initial rush was from the real fans. bet all the people who queued overnight are kicking themselves, as the tickets are still onsale!

10 000 is for the first 4 hours. It's not mentioned how much they sold in total.

I think Bryan Adams and Elton JOhn are the only previous concerts in this venue.

With only a few weeks till this show I think its fair to say no more will be announced in the uk as some ppl were thinking another gig would be announced

From this I feel it will be sold out no problem

Poor people for waiting all night in a line to get tickets..prob golden circle ones when they could have got them online a day before!

If they dont sell it out by the last week then do you think tickets will go on special price ie 2 for 1...just that when Blue came they had to do that to sell it out...they didnt by the way, lol!

I know alot of people from HULL that are going to sit in the park just outside the stadium and listen to it from there,lol....it was packed when Elton came!
