Default BON JOVI FOREVER - 2025/26 Tour

As we approach the end of 2024, the main question is whether there will be one more tour, and if so, will it happen next year?

At the start of the album and the 40th anniversary promotions, despite Jon's vocal issues, I was confident there would be a tour scheduled for the coming year. Band members and Jon himself hinted at it. However, as time has passed and the hype around the band waned shortly after the album's release, I'm not so sure anymore.

It's been a while since we discussed the tour topic, so I wanted to gather everyone's opinions. Yes, Jon's voice is awfully off, but do you think there's still a chance for one more tour? If so, when and how might it happen?

It hasn't been awhile since it's been talked about, there's a thread updated pretty often:

Jon said in that Japanese interview that he feels he is 100% again so we shall see when a tour happens. I'm gonna guess late 2025.

Jon has said a lot of things. He announced he was nearly there just last summer only to subsequently butcher every song he's performed ever since.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

It seems Jon's standards for his own voice are very low, if what we heard in November for those little acoustic performances and on Run Rudolph Run were what he considers 100%, I think he should reevaluate or he needs Dorothea to slap some reality into him like last time.

Honestly I would still go to a few shows if they toured around the NJ area because I've never been able to see them live and I think he sounds good enough for me, but Jon shouldn't raise expectations of people who've seen the band the last few years and were disappointed by the vocals.

Him saying he is totally better will just make people call him out on it when they tour and everyone sees that he is lying.

Words are nothing. No tour has been announced. Dude is saving face and pride and it's wild to see. He can see all he wants but if he's not confident enough to go on tour then thats the answer.

Agreed, it's about saving face first and foremost. He's not gonna go out and say "you know what, my voice is shot and my hope of getting it to a decent level is slim, don't expect us touring again". Of course he'd be talking about confidence in getting in back, especially since of the documentary was based around it.

But it has as much as substance as Richie saying we can expect a new album real soon. At least at the moment...

A few months ago I made a prediction that there will be a farewell tour, but it will be supported by other artists (who will vary depending on location) who will help sing some of the hits. I stand by it.

I don't think we're getting a farewell tour in any form any time soon. My guess is that Jon will continue to (try and) work on his voice and will probably feel confident enough to schedule a few appereances, such as festival shows here and there for 2025.

I just can't see the whole mega touring behemoth getting on the road if his voice can't endure several songs, let alone several shows in a somewhat not completely awful, legacy breaking condition. In that sense I believe him when he says he won't do it if he's not ready. And by ready, I don't mean 100%; but not needing to ever do full playback versions of hits to close the show.

There's no chance he's ever touring again. He had to rely on almost full playback to "sing" It's My Life recently. He can't sing one song live, let alone sustain a 2 hour concert. It's done.
