Bamboozle doesn't seem like a festival where a lot of LH songs would go over well...I think the set is going to surprise us. Not in the sense it'll be packed with rarities, but I think the song selection will not be the same old-same old from the last US run

However, I wouldn't go to this festival JUST for Bon Jovi. blink-182 and Foo Fighters as other headliners was a major appeal for me, and if the rest of the lineup were just as stellar, it'd be worth the trip to go. As it stands right now, there weren't enough other bands playing that I'd want to see to warrant spending that money and traveling to NJ for this.

As I said in some previous post, I have the hope that bon jovi learn something about the foo fighters present in the Bamboozle Festival. Wasting Light is a great album with some Grammys. This could set the new Bon Jovi album.

Bon Jovi have to sound like Bon Jovi and not like the Foo Fighters.

Bon Jovi can move some ideas from Foo Fighters, and also will follow sounding to Bon Jovi.

Agreed. I love the Foo Fighters but Bon Jovi are far superior (imo) both in the studio and especially live. They're still the best live band out there. Plus, I wouldn't want a Bon Jovi album anything like Wasting Light - they're not Bon Jovi songs.

If Rolo is saying they could learn a little as in "record an album of harder rock song with as little digital technology as possible" then I am 100 percent for it and would love them to go analog. I don't want them to sound like Foo Fighters but some aggression and power could do them some good.

Yeah i didn't consider that possibility, good point. That would be a good way to go.

Could they pull it off? Maybe! Maybe not. I want them to challenge things and mix SOMETHING up. Using the same producer this many times, regardless if you like the material or not, is a tricky thing. What I've heard so far hasn't impressed me, but it's been 20 seconds of a song during an interview. It's so early in the game.
