Default Bon Jovi in Greece and Bulgaria

There are some pretty strong rumors that later today a concert of Bon Jovi in Athens, Greece will be announced.

Also there are rumors about a concert in Sofia, Bulgaria.

I still don't know if it's true but I'll post more when it's official.

There are also rumors about a concert in Istanbul, Turkey in July too.

Aloha !

If these rumours are rumours based upon people actually leeking information, and not some wild guesses from fans from Turkey and Bulgaria, it could mean that the European Tour will be extended with some dates in parts of Europe they haven't visited for a while.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Jon has never made it a secret that he's disappointed about never being able to play Greece for some reason. Whenever people ask where he'd like to play some time, he most of the time answers Greece.

With these stadium dates in North America being in jeopardy, I wouldn't be surprised if it all would finally take place. There are more and more bands that visit parts of Europe they haven't done for a long time, including Russia, Estland and countries like that.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Yeah. It also makes sense given the things Jon said in the interview. I'm hoping for a Sweden-show then.

The guy who leaked the info is in the know. In the past he was right about concerts about to be announced. We are looking at a show in mid July according to the rumors. It's a developing story so I expect more during the day. According tot he same man official announcements are expected shortly.

For Sofia I don't know more but apparently the promoter who announced the Metallica and Kiss concerts in Sofia has Bon Jovi as t.b.a.

As an avid BJ fan from Bulgaria I would be extremely happy if they bring the Lost Highway Tour to Sofia! Still I find it too incredible to be true but I'll keep my fingers crossed for one of the best concerts ever to be held in my country!
