Hope it's a real show and not a scam, I was kinda tihnking of going.

I think he must've realized it himself as well, ticketsales have been postponed untill February 6. They also said another Dutch artist (Ilse deLange, pretty good) would be performing, yet none of it is mentioned on the promo's. I contacted ticketpoint.nl who officially sell tickets and they didn't know anything about a confirmation of Bon Jovi and said they just published whatever was handed to them.

You'd better be going to Rio Dave, Madrid is a wonderful city and Rio is a brilliant festival.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Matt said on BAckstage that the contract isn't signed yet. And some people called or e-mailed the promoter and meanwhile he says the same.

The same promoter appearantly said Bon Jovi has signed. They've now included an option to put yourself on a waiting list (not sure if that's the correct translation) so you'll get the chance for a VIP package. I don't really see what the point is about offering a VIP package for putting yourself on the waiting list, which is why me and many others think that he's done the waiting list just to see how many people really are that interested.

A load or rubbish, and the ticket sales once again have been delayed, there's no word on February 6th anymore, yet they still mention Bon Jovi as the headliner.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Bon Jovi should get a cease and desist-order if the contract hasn't been signed yet. It's a bloody mess with this Bob Reiche promotor, everyday there's new stories and changes with the rules on the website of this Beach disaster. It will really surprise me if this will all go ahead. If Bon jovi are smart, they will stay clear of Scheveningen and cancel all contracts and stick with Livenation

Aloha !

The organisator (Bob Reiche) has been on local TV and said in front of the camera that Bon Jovi was confirmed last Christmas, and that the band will do an acoustic show indoors after the main show. The first thing has been denied by Backstage and the second thing has never been done by Bon Jovi at all.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

The show is now confirmed. FC-tix go on sale tomorrow and the generel sale is on 20th.

Since I don't trust the promoter I won't go. It happened to my hubby once that a promoter of a festival broke. The money for the tickets didn't get payed back.

Many of the Dutch fans aren't going either, the only people that are going are the ones that'd go even if a ticket would be 1.000E.

And although the promoter keeps claiming that it'll attract 100.000 people the entire thing is a joke. He even gave an interview in which he explained a few things, while half of what he explained included false statements and stuff like that.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan
