that should be irrelevant. i'm guessing he meant stadium shows as in not indoor arena shows. Slane is not a stadium and they had the Buick.

personally, i don't mind not having the car starge per se. i'm not a fan of big production stages a la Muse anyway, and i'd much rather a basic stage in general. however, it's kind of sucky not having the same experience as everyone else, if indeed this turns out not being the car stage.

Is it a stand alone concert or part of a festival? IOW didn't get the Buick and neither will Hyde Park. The Buick will just be on the screen at times.

there will be a general strike on the 27th, so there won't be any buses or subways running. there will be a special bus line from 23h15 to 02h00 and it will stop in following places:

leaving from Bela Vista (Av. José Régio) - Av. Brasil - Campo Grande - Entrecampos - Campo Pequeno - Saldanha - Marquês de Pombal - Restauradores - Rossio

Restauradores and Rossio are the places closer to the downtown.

that's the thing, it's a stand alone concert. we've had the Rock in Rio festival stage in 2008 and that's perfectly understandable in that case. i can't seem to find any pictures from today and apparently no one knows what's the deal with the stage at this point. guess we won't know until tomorrow!

I'm gonna be a bit gutted if I don't get the car.... Just outta curiosity does any one no what the chances are of getting a upgrade from GA to GC? Kinda thinking I may as well give it a shot

apparently, Sofia got lost on the way. sorry to be that person JerseyGiant, no car in Lisbon.

the promoters say on their Facebook page "Bon Jovi picked the staged that's being used tomorrow" and that "they can't do anything about that". i'd really love to hear the explanation behind this.

PS. i have no Twitter on my phone, but can text someone the PBP if you guys can't find one.

EDIT: Bon Jovi are supposed to be on at 21h15, according to the promoter.
