Default Bon Jovi linked with Australia; South Africa Tour

hi everybody. Some time ago one of the radio stations in South Africa stated that it was very likely that Bon Jovi would be playing in South Africa later in the year.

I've just read here that a similar announcement was made in Australia. If this is to be true, then I would think that both tours would probably be either next year (January/february) of later this year (October/November). It would of course make sense to do both Australia and South Africa consecutively, since they'e both in the Southern Hemisphere and it would be easier logistically! (they did something like that for the "These Days" world Tour back in 1995 - those shows are still talked about here in South Africa!)

I hope they do come down. Bon Jovi has, in South Africa, one of their biggest fan bases outside of America and Europe. Here, the big acts people generally follow (apart from the boybands/pop suff etc) are U2, Bon Jovi, Aerosmith and Bryan Adams, while bands like Offspring, Creed and Nickelback are catching on fast. Bryan Adams has come down 3 times already, while Sting has toured here twice.

It wouldn't actually be a world tour if BJ just stick to America and Europe, Asia now would it> I know they've covered alot, but fans in Australia and South Africa are starved of BJ shows too!

We'd love for them to come down again. Have a nice day everyone!

I think they've said they'll be touring next year. They'll be knackered after they finish all their set dates, so I expect Australia and South Africa will see Bon Jovi next year.

That would be cool. Hopefully, it'll happen. Whether it's early next year or late next year....as long as they're coming to tour, then we'll be there!!!!

Those bands you mentioned in there are virtually the same that we get here. And like you guys, I'm hoping like hell that this is for real, how great would it be!!
