If they tried playing an extended intro like that today the crowd would be completely dead - they have no patience for it.

They still played the extended intro in 1995. And I wish they'd do it again. Or play any other sort of intro. My favourite 80s version must be the one from Moscow.

I agree about this acoustic version. One of the best versions of wanted.

That, and Milton Keyens 1993, first night... the little wing there is just brilliantly perfect.


About the song not being played anymore? No Way! I think they know it's one of those 'have to play' songs, and I'm glad that's their opinion. It would be weird to not have it played in a concert. I get a kick hearing that song every single concert I attend. So nostalgic and so good... The only reason I'm sometimes sad that it starts playing, is because I know that it's coming near the end of the concert

It's one of the best rock songs ever, common!
