Default Bon Jovi not touring until 2006 according to this

This is Ipswich Town's equivilent to Dry County and this is in the news section. I don't know if it's reliable or not. Sorry if this should be in the touring section.

Ipswich Town's planned third concert of the 2005 summer is now unlikely to take place. American rockers Bon Jovi were to be the band involved but they are now not planning to tour during 2005.

The club have confirmed concerts by Neil Diamond and REM on May 26th and July 8th respectively, and were in negotiations with the third act, which TWTD revealed to be Bon Jovi.

However, the eighties band have postponed their European tour plans until the summer of 2006, when they may play a concert at Portman Road after all.

Town could look for another act to fill the third date with a final decision being made at the end of January, but it does appear that Portman Road will host only two gigs in the summer.

Town say tickets are selling well with 18,000 sold for REM and 13,500 for Neil Diamond.

yeah thanks for posting

i dont see why the album would be delayed if its alredy more or less written and the band has said itd be out this year. but who knows eh

I wonder what the reason behind pulling outta the tour was.. some ppl said it mite have been for another concert commitment (Band Aid) but surely they woodnt need to cancel a whole tour for one gig.

maybe Jon has realised he needs singing lessons.

I think they are talking about the release not the album itself.

I see, but there's no reason to have the album delayed? At least they can't say it isn't done yet.

well fi they're not touring then that's a biog enough reason not to realease the album.

no point putting somethign out in spring and not touring it tillt he year after.

sayign that, I'd still put money on that they'll be in europe over the summer.

Nothing is official yet though until the band releases information. Until then even articles like this aren't really credible.
