Metallica don't like Jovi. I think James Hetfield had a guitar with "kill Bon Jovi" or something written on it.

Who knows, maybe they're over it...lol

there is a whole thread about this....

anyway - i rem jbj saying he always treated support acts well back in the day because when they were first starting out they were given like a corner of the stage barely any sound or lights and he didnt like it so he always wanted the opening acts to not go thru that so heres hoping that is not true...

Jovi have no say in who supports them, its all down to which band offers the most money for the support slot.Lets not forget Jovi were once a support band and had to pay big bucks to go out on their first Euro tour with KISS back in 84.
Its also a well known fact that the support bands on a bill are not given the full lighting and sound to use during their show.
Just for the record Jon was an absolute ass on the 84 tour, all the other members including Al were cool.People need to stop believing that Jon is the likeable guy you all imagine he would be,even own members of his family dont speak to him anymore...

Rock band Bon Jovi have offended members of the band The Feeling by ignoring them while performing together.

Thesun.co.uk reports that The Feeling will not be going to see Bon Jovi perform any more since they felt snubbed while playing with the band on the British leg of their tour.

The Feeling's lead singer Dan Gillespie said: "You would have thought Jon would have at least said hi to us. They go as far as to close off corridors when they're in them - your access-all-areas pass doesn't count."

The Feeling bassist Richard Jones said: "We were treated like a support act, which was strange considering we were a billed band."

Why would they have no say in the support band, I've been to see Dream Theater numerous times and the support acts such as Porcupine Tree, Pain Of Salvation, Spocks Beard and Symphony X are all bands that Dream Theater are major fans of as are most DT fans. That's a band who knows how to treat their fans. Dream Theater are clearly not as big as Bon Jovi but do fairly decent sized venues now and surely the bigger you are the more power you would have in selecting who you want to tour with and who fans may actually want to see (remember Van Halen anyone?)

For the record The Feeling were not some kind of co-headliners they were a support band. A hugely poor support band who were on far longer than was necessary. How they sell records is a complete mystery to me.

Honestly, and this is just me looking at the support acts, it seems like the band puts a lot more work into choosing their US support bands.

Out of curosity, which family members don't speak to him? His two brothers work for him and his mama and daddy were at the last MSG gig so.......maybe you are refering to distant cousins.

I don't know in Missy's (inthesearms) Boston story about the Celtic Jersey and the shirt, he seemed very likeable.

Oh please. Do you know the man, personally? If not I suggest you shut up. Or back up this comment with FACTS. We all know Jon is moody often, that doesn't mean he's an asshole though. He's human too, ya know. Maybe some of his family members don't speak to him. Um, that's life isn't it? Unless you have a very small family, or a very unsually close one. Who really speaks to every family member? Do you actually have proof, of these said family members saying they don't talk to him, because he's an ass?

This gets old fast.
