Hey at least you can say Jon Bon Jovi insulted your partner eh? Surely that's a cooler story to tell people than "You know ol' George on the end of the street, number 52? He insulted my partner and didn't once apologise!"

Jon "getting all the credit" is bullshit really. Maybe from the casual fans, and females that just fancy him, and don't care abotu the music. But the truth is, Jon gets A LOT of slack from a lot of the bigger fans. The finger is always pointed at him, because he's the main man. He also seems to be expected to be all sugar and spice, and all things nice, more so than the others. Take Richie bloomin' DUI for example. Imagien if Jon did that - I can bet money on it, it would have been a HUGE deal on this board alone. "Jon is such an asshole, how could he do that, what a prick" blahdy blah. Richie didn't get that on here, did he. As for Jon randomly insulting your fiancce - why? What happend? He just randomly saw you, and started insulting? I will agree that Jon has acted in bad manners often times. But does that automatically make him an asshole? Or someone that is in the public eye, and whenever he does anything that isn't nice - it's blown up and talked about, because he's Jon Bon Jovi? I don't mean to sound like I'm kissing his ass. And he could well be an asshole, but I'm one that thinks his behaviours are blown out of proportion.

I do leave it alone. When I was talking about it in the chat, it was already the subject of conversation. But it's true though, Richie's little "incident" is worse than anything I've heard of Jon doing. I sympathize the man has a problem and all. But man, if that was Jon that had done that!

I agree with Jade about the whole Jon thing. However, I don't think Richie deserved to get stick because he went through a really hard time.

I'm not saying he deserves to get stick (atlough I'm so strongly against DUI, it angers me so much. esp. if he really did have his daugher in the car - ugh.) But I don't dislike Richie for it. I DETEST what he did, as I'd detest ANYONE doing it. But I know he was going through rough times, and has a drinking problem. It's the act I hated, not the man. But what my real point is, if Jon had been the one who done that - it would have been a MUCH bigger deal, believe me. Even him simply being in a bad mood, has been made into more of a deal on this board!!! And a lot more than once.

Edit: See, I hate what Richie did, but I don't hate Richie. But some people have seriously said they hate Jon, because he can be moody. That's ridiculous IMO. Why not hate the act, rather than hate the man, you don't actually know personally? Unless he went out and, I dunno...beat-up some granny or something. Then you might have a valid reason to hate him.

I agree, Richie is the favourite among many die-hards. I think Jon gets a lot of unfair criticism.

I think there's A GREAT DEAL of truth to the fact that many Die-Hards give Jon way too much shit, and Richie gets a free pass as far as band stuff.

Basically i have followed the band since day one and always felt that Richie,Dave and Tico were a very under rated unit.At times it really annoyed that Jon seemed to get all the credit,nothing to do with my fall out with Jon just a simple observation.Mr Sambora has always been the star of the band in my eyes,just my opinon mind...
As for Jon's family members being upset with him,well its been well documented over the years about major fall outs.As someone already stated he may have made up with these particular family members,if thats the case then i apologize.
For all the people who told me to shut up,thanks for that,but if someone,anyone insulted your better half and refused to say sorry,wouldnt you act the same??

Would definitely be curious to hear what Jon said to badmouth you and your fiancee. There was a girl that posted on backstage that she and her husband stayed in the same hotel in Manchester and same floor as Jon and they met him and got autographs, pictures, etc. He also asked the woman if she had a special request for the show.
