It didn't work with Lost Highway while that one was very successful in America, yet he think it will work with an album that's been the least succesful album since Fahrenheit.

By the time the tour starts everyone's forgotten about the Circle and he'll be promoting an album no one apart from the die hards have bought. The casual fan won't have this album, and won't know any songs (as in singles) from it either because they've all tanked. Way to go with your full album concept thoughts, Jon.

Agreed, but the album isn't selling that badly. In the US anyway, it's held up pretty well sales wise. It's chart position has been rather low since the debut, but it's actually pretty much on pace with the last few albums.

I agree completely. I also would love to hear the entire album, mixed with hits and some rarities. And I also think that casual fans who didn’t buy TC and still go to any concert on the next tour would find some songs of TC great and buy the album afterwards. Let’s face it, casual fans know max. 5-10 BJ hits and that’s it. Therefore I think it is a good way to promote the new album for the casual fans. Die hards will have it already anyway so they want to hear how the new songs sound live (at least I want).

Agree again. I don’t care how the album sells as long as I personally like it. Do some of you like (or dislike) the album that sells 1 million copies more than if it would have sold 10 million copies? Does it make the songs sound better (or worse) for you? I don’t get what’s the point in that sales numbers as an argument in discussion whether they should play the entire album or not.

Me too. I’d love to hear These Days, Something to Believe in, Dry County…and my favourite KTF again of course. And I hope they won’t play WSYCGH and ILTT

Until they break out "She's A Mystery" and we can all blame you.

I would LOVE to hear some rarities at the Detroit show on St. Patty's Day. It's gonna be great to see them that day anywho, but throw in some rare songs and it'll be awesome! Here's to hopin Jon keeps his word, and Detroit is in dire need of some good tunes from the past, each time they've came here its been strictly the hits aside from TRSMLT and TD (Richie)(not very rare lol).

So basically, Jon will omit Always when he doesn't feel like hitting the notes, and the band is still under the illusion that Keep the Faith is a song that needn't be played every night. Fantastic.

Personally, I'd be fine hearing The Circle in it's entirety, but I agree that it'd go over horrible with audiences. Knowing our luck, the two or three times they do play the whole album are the only times they'll play anything off the album other than the first four tracks and occasionally Live Before You Die just to kill the mood.

Playing an entire album in front of an audience that doesn't know it is pretty pointless. There are no songs on the album that will convert a casual fan into a bigger fan and will make them buy the album. They didn't have any hits with this album because the casual fan didn't care. What's the point of playing 12 songs when your audience isn't coming to your show to hear the new songs anyway? Just because you, and pretty much all of Jovitalk think it's a good album doesn't mean it'll go over well in a live setting. If the album had been a hit it'd been a great move to play all of it, people would actually want to hear it. Now they just don't care at all, so why bother in the first place?

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

I think I liked Keep the Faith best on the 2001 One Wild Night tour actually. It also seemed good every other time I've seen it
