Bruce is hanging in their Kathleen, The Spice Girl thing is more about see and be seen than music it helps to have Mrs Beckham on the stage I would think. It is weird to see BJ outdoing Bruce though, I think maybe Bruce has reached that point where the young audience just isn't going with him, his 35 plus fanbase is still there but the younger generation isn't following, he needs a new connect with them. I like the new record but didn't find anything that made me love it, I saw them once this tour and that was enough, it was a great show but I didn't connect enough with it to go again.

I go to many Bruce shows and I see a lot of young people there - in addition to all us old farts LOL. I'm not sure what has had ticket sales down for this tour unless many people (like yourself) simply don't care for the latest CD. I'm sure the economy hasn't helped either.

And yeah - it even surprises me that Bon Jovi is doing better - especially with some of the horrible reviews at the tour's beginning in Newark. They really got savaged at the Prudential.

The 2 million number is the average grossing per show, with the 87 being the average ticket price. There are a couple tours that can give Jovi a run for their money, but Jovi's prices have been high and people will keep going to see them so it's likely they keep the spot at least for a few months.

See I 'am really hoping that too, but with madonna's tour about to begin in August and her highest ticket prices are 350 there is a chance that she could beat out the guys. Her tour will likely be finished before the end of the year so they will count her figures for 2008. I 'am really hoping that I'm wrong. It's time for Bon Jovi to have the top tour. Either way Bon Jovi, Madonna, and The Police will all be neck to neck for the top spot.

Don't discount Petty. His tickets weren't cheap either plus that Superbowl performance has gotten people psyched about seeing him live.

Yeah, Petty was actually better than i expected at the superbowl. I also forgot about the Boss he's also having a pretty big tour, but his tickets are not as high plus it's about half and half on him having sellouts, so we will see.
