That's funny. When I saw Bruce this summer, I know I did not pay as much to see Bruce as I did to see Bon Jovi and I had lower level tickets for the arena for both of them.

I believe bruce's highest ticket price was about $95.

Look in their eyes Mom you'll see me."

The way the economy is at the moment it could be the last big money-making tour for a long time for any artist.

All that money made also makes a joke of the $250 price for an hour show in February!

That serves them right. It's about time those artists charging that ridiculous prices start working for their money again instead of doing the 40 odd shows here and the 20 odd shows there. The best solution would be a tour with more dates in order to get the same amount of money for Jon. He'd have to do more shows as well, so that might just a problem for Jon.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

They're still the highest grossing act of 2008.

Bon Jovi's Lost Highway tour tops the list of the biggest tours for 2008, based on data reported to Billboard Boxscore from Nov. 14, 2007, through Nov. 11, 2008. The trek, promoted in North America and Europe by AEG Live, grossed $210.6 million and drew 2,157,675 fans.

Surely that means in Europe?

So, they were still highest grossing act then, regardless.

I'm not sure where your getting your info from but I would suggest the tour in Europe was on a par with the HAND tour. They played a similar number of dates in similar sized venues.
They are no way near as popular in Europe as they were in the mid to lates 90's in Europe but to say the tour flopped is an exaggeration.

Yeah and there are people with better taste that actually went to the shows and helped contribute to BJ being the highest grossing act.
